1886
Franklin Holland founded the Holland Insurance Agency in Paterson, NJ.
1908
Alfred Greenwood and William Duddleston are appointed to partnership of Holland Insurance Agency.
1913
Following the death of Franklin Holland, Alfred Greenwood and William Duddleston change the legal name of the agency to Duddleston & Greenwood.
1921
After many years with the agency, William A. Dewey was made a partner at Duddleston & Greenwood.
1949
Walter Dewey joins his father, William Dewey, as a partner of the agency.
1966
Walter Dewey takes managing partner of the agency and his brother, William Dewey, joins as an associate. The new legal name of the agency becomes Dewey & Sons Insurance Agency.
1969
Dewey & Sons Insurance Agency changes its legal name to Delta Associates Insurance Agency.
1979
Walter Dewey brings on John H. Sullivan as a partner to manage and run the agency.
1985
Delta Associates Insurance Agency moves it headquarters from Paterson, NJ, to Butler, NJ.
1988
John H. Sullivan brings on Louis Graziano as a partner and relocates the headquarters from Butler, NJ, to Kinnelon, NJ. Prior to Louis’s partnership he worked for many years in the industry with The Hartford and Crum & Foster.
1992 – 1994
Delta Associates Insurance Agency grows dramatically with the acquisitions of three agencies: Marcliff Insurance Agency of Little Falls, NJ, Professional Insurance Agency of Caldwell, NJ, and Saul Insurance Agency of West Orange, NJ. John H. Sullivan and Louis Graziano change the legal name of the agency to Delta Marcliff Insurance Agency and move the agency headquarters to Little Falls, NJ.
2014
John H. Sullivan and Louis Graziano promote their long-time associate Kevin Walker to partner of Delta Marcliff Insurance Agency.
2019
After 31 years as partner and vice president of the agency, Louis Graziano moves into an advisory role and continues to support his clientele. After 11 years of experience as an account advisor, John H. Sullivan and Kevin Walker promote Patrick Sullivan to partner of Delta Marcliff Insurance Agency. Delta Marcliff acquires Bischoff Insurance Agency and continues to operate and manage the long-time Ringwood, NJ location. Delta Marcliff Insurance Agency changes its legal name to Delta Associates Insurance Agencies.
